Having worked as a math educator on the east coast for over a decade, Brooke left teaching to become a professional storyteller. Merging her love of social justice with storytelling, she created a nonprofit focused on providing a voice to those who often go unheard in our communities. Now she is focusing her energy on bringing classrooms to life through the creation and implementation of stories in math. When she isn't telling stories, Brooke rolls in a Skeeball league, shoots pool, and raises four mathematically gifted children.
